London will forever be a breeding ground for forward-thinking artists, as is evident with this debut EP from Lion González. It begins calm and warm with the beautiful droning of “Robot Text” but then the bass and harmonics are really kicked up on “You Sound Like You’re Close To Home”. Lion takes on a traditional house and techno vibe on “American Dreams” while adding his signature melodics and atmosphere and a serious sub bassline. “Lodosa (I Can Find My Way)” wraps it up with catchy vocal edits, melodies and broken beats.
